 You're off to a great start in your home search! The internet can provide you an amazing amount of detail regarding not only the home you may be searching for, but also local school or employment information as well as entertainment and recreational opportunities around a particular home. I'm sure you are aware that there is much more to finding the perfect home than just the home itself! Some of the information that I think is necessary to determine how accurately a home is priced includes:
- Motivation of the seller (why they are moving, how much they paid/still owe on the house)
- Comparable sales information (what other homes on the street or in the area have sold for)
- Utility information (average bill for gas/electricity)
- The property history (how long has it been on the market, have there been any price reductions, etc.)
