The dreaded bio page...the page that is supposed to sound as if it's written by a third party and has all of the glowing attributes you would expect-and be bored by. So instead we'd like to offer you a glimpse into our real estate family.

WHO WE ARE...First and foremost...we're a family. We have 3 incredibly funny, inspiring and forever energetic boys, Matthew, Justin and Jake, that continually remind us on a daily basis that things are never as serious as they appear. We've been married now for 15 years and have moved about as many times throughout the Peoria area. Call it a side effect for viewing a couple thousand homes over the years. Jennifer is a graduate of Bradley University and I am a graduate of Eastern Illinois University. Before children we did our share of old home restoration, fixer uppers as well as new constructions...we've run the gamut of every kind of home. Which brings us to our next chapter...

WHAT WE DO...We help put the right people with the right home. Some people ask me how long I've been doing this, and I jokingly say "since birth", although that's not too far from the truth. My parents, Dick and Mary Ann Monge, have been licensed Realtors for over 30 years and I've been fortunate to be able to follow in their footsteps. It's all I've ever known and it's all I've ever done-and I love it. Brian Monge, my younger brother, has been a Realtor nearly as long as myself. Jennifer decided if you can't beat em'-join em', and left the pharmaceutical field to join the Monge family of Realtors about 12 years ago. To understand what is being said around our Thanksgiving table you typically need to have a good understanding of real estate terminology!

Hopefully this has given you a little peak into who we are and what we can offer. We could have used up this page singing our praises and mentioning awards we've recieved individually and as a team. Actually I wanted to but my wife said no. In 2010 the Monge Home Team was proud to have been able to help 226 families find a home, more than any single agent or team of agents in the tri-county area. In 2009 and 2010 myself and Jennifer are happy to announce the most successful year of our entire career in terms of total homes sold, families helped, closed volume and increased market share. The Maloof Real Estate organization also topped the field in total number of homes sold, total volume of sales and total number of agents...a tri-fecta of sorts. Ok..so I sung our praises a little bit. If we don't who will. I honestly believe that if we do our job to the best of our ability that you will be incredibly satisfied and reccomend us to your friends. For that reason I've always provided the seller the option of canceling a listing contract at anytime if they are unsatisfied and I've never asked a buyer to sign a buyer agreement. If we do our job well-the rest will take care of itself.
