Morton Homes


Morton Homes   Morton is a nice community south of the Illinois River valley that is about a 15 minute drive from downtown Peoria. Pumpkins and Caterpillars....both are equally revered in Morton. The Libby Pumpkin plant is located there and every fall Morton rolls out the Morton Pumpkin Fest for all things Pumpkin related. Caterpillar also has a large presence here as well. While smaller than Peoria, Morton has everything one would want in a community all within a close driving distance. Morton is also very popular for its school district. Cambridge subdivision is an area of homes on the east side of Morton along Jackson St. Most of these homes were built around the late 1990's and early 2000's. Two story style homes dominate with square footages in the upper 2,000 square foot range. Click here for a map! - CLICK HERE TO SEARCH

Orchard Hills is a new subdivision located on the south eastern edge of the city off of East Jefferson. This subdivision features a nice mixture of upper end homes priced in the upper $300K to $400K range. The Reserves at Stonegate is actually located in the nearby town of Groveland but belongs to the Morton School District, so I wanted to be sure to include it here. It's just a little off of the beaten path in relation to the other Morton subdivisions, but therein lies the charm. Many buildable lots to choose from and homes priced in the upper $300K range. Thornridge subdivision is one of the large exclusive subdivisions in Morton. Thornridge is located on the northern edge of Morton off of Lakeland and Veterans Rd. Here you will find larger homes measuring in the upper 2,000 square foot range to homes well above 4,000 square feet. Home values typically are anywhere from the $300,000 range to in some cases over $1 million, however the average is more in the middle. There are some sections of this subdivision that are completed and have some beautiful wooded lots, while there are some newer sections that are still growing and offer some more affordable entry points.
