Copper Creek

Copper Creek is a newer subdivision in the Dunlap school district, with a Dunlap mailing address, but is in the city of Peoria. It's located just off of Wilhelm Road near the Rock Island Trail interchange. This is a large subdivision with a large mix of different builders. Homes tend to range just under $300,000 (for some of those that have backed up to Wilhelm Road) to over $600,000 for some of the nicer larger tree-lined lots in the back. It will eventually hook into neighboring Stone Gate Subdivision, which will provide easy access to the new public park in that area. Copper Creek is about 20 minutes to downtown Peoria and about 10-12 minutes to Caterpillar's Mossville facility. There are nearby dining and shopping outlets, with The Shoppes at Grand Prairie just a few minutes away. We have a number of very happy clients and friends that chose to live in Copper Creek. As mentioned briefly above, this neighborhood is very close to the Rock Island Trail and as such this is a big draw for the subdivision. It is boarded on the west side by a creek, thus part of the reason for the naming of the subdivision. I think you will agree it is a great place to call home. The newest built elementary middle school for the neighborhood is Hickory Grove Elementary.
