Northtrail Meadows

Northtrail Meadows Subdivision is surrounded by Wilhelm Road on the south, Hickory Grove on the north, and Knoxville Ave on the east. It's a mixture of single family (vast majority of the homes) and attached single family homes that surround a 40 acre public park that is maintained by the Peoria Park District. The park features a fishing pond, basketball and tennis courts, a playground, soccer fields, and walking paths. This subdivision ranges in price from $175,000 and on up.

Northtrail Meadows is in the Dunlap School District, with a Dunlap mailing address, but is within the city of Peoria. When they started this subdivision there were only two streets Northtrail and Columbine. Since then it has expanded to the east all the way to Knoxville Avenue. We actually had a house of our own in this subdivision as well! (We told you we have moved a lot.) This is a popular neighborhood because of the size and availability of homes, the proximity to the park, and the values. Easy access to Caterpillar's Mossville facility (10 minute drive) and downtown Peoria (20-25 minute commute). Nearby you will find grocery stores, dining opportunities, 3 of the elementary schools, Rock Island Trail, and many other positive features like child care facilities and private schools.
