Augusta Estates

Augusta Estates is one of the more unique upper end subdivisions in the Dunlap area, featuring it's own professionally designed private golf course. It is also the only gated subdivision in the Dunlap area. It's Peoria's farthest north reaching neighborhood, with a Dunlap mailing address and belongs to Dunlap School District. The golf course is a 3 hole course, however it can be set up and played as if it is a 9 hole course. There are some beautiful homes here by various builders and it truly is a beautiful neighborhood to drive through. It is boarded on the north by Dunlap's Banner Elementary School, and to the west by Allen Road and Greenview Nursery, which offers some pretty sunsets. The subdivision is pretty much complete, with just a few empty lots left. The commute to downtown Peoria is about 25 minutes, about 8 minutes to Caterpillar's Mossville facility, 15 minutes to The Shoppes at Grand Prairie, and 8 minutes to the town of Dunlap. Because this is within the city of Peoria, it has public water and public sewer services as well as fire and police protection.
