Chapel Park

Chapel Park, like Dover Pointe, Churchill Park, and Northtrail Meadows subdivisions, was one of the early new subdivisions to be added into the city of Peoria and the Dunlap School District. Chapel Park has a Peoria mailing address, but resides in the Dunlap school district, and the city of Peoria. It is located between east of Knoxville Avenue and to the west of Allen Road. It is attached to Churchill Park on the south, and is just off Wilhelm Road on the north. When they first started this subdivision back in 1998, there were just two streets and a cul-de-sac. That has grown considerably and there were many additional phases added. It is now complete, with no additional lots left to be built on. The homes, like Dover Pointe, offer a little more square footage and yard size compared to their new construction counterparts. Chapel Park is a popular neighborhood that is close to grocery stores, shopping, dining, The Rock Island Trail, churches, day cares, etc. It's about a 10 minute drive to Caterpillar's Mossville facility, and is about 20-25 minutes to downtown Peoria.
