Copperfield Subdivision is located in the town of Dunlap, just outside the city of Peoria. As such-it's one of those unique Dunlap subdivisions that is actually IN the town of Dunlap. It's a large subdivision with many different phases, some of which have been around for awhile, some that are brand new, and some that are yet to come. Home prices can range from the mid $200,000 range to some very nice upper end homes that sit on some of the area's better wooded walk-out lots. We sometimes jokingly say we need a second home for ourselves in this neighborhood. With our three kids in the Dunlap school system, it seems we are always driving into Dunlap for one reason or another every day. It's close to the elementary school, two middle schools, and the high school. The town of Dunlap is a small and quaint community. In fact, there isn't a single stop light to be found in the town anywhere. There is a newly built library that has a great location next to the Rock Island Trail. You could jump on your bike, read a book, and take the trail west out into the country or east into Peoria! Copperfield Subdivision also has a park in the middle of it which provides a great place for kids of all ages. That, coupled with the recreation fields of the nearby 4 schools, and you will find plenty of things to keep you kids off the x-box and into activities. There is another Dunlap subdivision that goes by the name of Coppercreek, which is not affiliated with Copperfield.
