Cypress Ridge is an area of some very nice homes on the western edge of Washington located off Centennial Drive. There are a few duplex style homes near the front of the neighborhood, but the majority of the homes are single family detached homes. There are many two story and ranch style homes to choose from. The subdivision started around 2006/2007 but moved along slowly during the downturn in the market during 2008/2009. However, recently there is a lot of activity going on in the neighborhood and there are some great options to choose from. It is located about 10 minutes from Peoria and just a mile or two from Illinois Central College, the local community college. The southern border of the subdivision has some wonderful wooded lots to choose from.
