Dunlap, IL 61525
I like to refer to this neighborhood as the "secret" neighborhood, because since the first home sold in 2007, there has never been an entrance sign for the subdivision. The only access at this point is by driving through the Trail View Estates subdivision off of Radnor Road near the Rock Island Trail. Behind Trail View subdivision, you will find the Fields Crossing subdivision. All of the homes in Fields Crossing subdivision are built by the same builder, and there some set styles to choose from. A big draw for this neighborhood is the price point for a new construction in the Dunlap School District. The neighborhood is bordered by a railroad track on the west side, eventually Alta Road on the south side, and Trailview subdivision on the east side. It's close to shopping and dining, and as mentioned above, it is close to the Rock Island Trail, which is a popular jogging and biking path. It's exactly three miles from the Shoppes at Grand Prairie shopping mall, has close proximity to interstate access, and you can be in downtown Peoria in 15-20 minutes. Like the neighboring Trail View Estates and Summer Ridge subdivisions, this area is a nice mix between the north Peoria/Dunlap subdivisions along Allen Road and Knoxville, and the northwest subdivisions around the Shoppes at Grand Prairie.
