Northbrook

Northbrook Subdivision is in the city of Peoria, the Dunlap school district, and has a Dunlap mailing address. It is located at the intersection of Allen Road and Hickory Grove Road, adjacent from Hickory Grove Elementary School. There are about 60 total single family ranches and two story models, some back up to the private park, others back up to a nice wooded area. The subdivision is adjacent to The Pinnacle, Waterford, and The Crystals subdivisions. We were behind the development of this subdivision, and for reasons that in hindsight can only be described as a lack of ingenuity at the time, the streets were named after myself (Marks Place), my two brothers (Brians Way and Scotts Trail) and my sister (Molly Lane). The private park for this neighborhood makes it a little more unique in the sense that for most of the other subdivisions, if there is a park, it is a public park. From Northbrook to downtown Peoria is about 20-25 minutes by taking either Route 6 or Knoxville Ave. Not in a rush and looking for a little more scenic trip? Cut over to Route 29 via Cedar Hills Drive and head south along the river at your own pace! This was a one builder development where all of the homes were built by the same builder.
