Trails Edge Subdivision is located in the city of Peoria, with a Peoria mailing address, and is located in Dunlap school district. It's a nice area of upper end homes, large lots, boulevard streets, and is so named because it bordered by the Rock Island Trail that offers a jogging and biking path on the south edge of the subdivision. There are quite a few homes with very nice cul-de-sac and wooded settings. It is a completed subdivision with no additional phases to be added. At the far west end of the subdivision, there is a bike path that leads to the Rock Island Trail, as well as the front of the neighborhood being close to another access point. Trails Edge along with Chapel Park, Dover Pointe, and Churchill Park Subdivisions were some of the original "new" Dunlap subdivisions. It's a great neighborhood to drive or bike through and every home seems to have beautiful landscaping and settings. There were a lot of different builders that built here, thus there is a nice mix of different types of higher-end home styles to choose from.

Trails Edge can sometimes be confused with two other subdivisions in Central Illinois that have the same name. One is located in Germantown Hills and other one is in Morton. To find out about those subdivisions, just click on our Germantown Hills and Morton links under "areas." Trails Edge is about 20 minutes to downtown Peoria, with probably the easiest access being Route 6 for an easy traffic-free commute. Plenty of nearby shopping, dining, grocery stores, a newer library, health clubs, and entertainment options. The Last Chance Bar and Grill is just a short stroll from the neighborhood as well. You can work up an appetite on the trail, then earn back your calories over eggs and bacon at the Last Chance. :) Bon appetite!
