The Pinnacle Subdivision is in the city of Peoria, with a Dunlap mailing address, and resides in the Dunlap school district. It's located off Allen Road, just north of Hickory Grove Elementary School. It is bordered by Northbrook Subdivision to the south and Augusta Estates just a little further to the north. This neighborhood is known for beautiful homes, large lots, and spacious rear yards. It was one of the smaller neighborhoods in terms of total number of homes, which gives it a quaint appeal where everyone knows and looks out for each other. It is one street total-ending in a cul-de-sac. Most of the homes on the south side of the street have finished walk-out lower levels and very deep rear yards backing up to trees. The homes on the north side of the street have generous sized flat lots and for the most part are very usable. The Pinnacle is one of the furthest north Dunlap subdivisions that is still within the city of Peoria, with Augusta Estates being the furthest north. The commute to Dunlap high school is only about 8 minutes, about 25 minutes to downtown Peoria, and 8 minutes to Caterpillar's Mossville facility. Within a 2-3 mile radius are plenty of grocercy stores, shopping, dining, health clubs, churches, and parks.
